Jeanne attended Insch school until 14, when she transferred to the Gordon Schools in Huntly. Her memoir and the Reflections booklet contain details of her time at both schools, and images of her Dux Medal from the Gordon Schools (awarded 1916). She later went onto Aberdeen University, became a teacher of French and German at Macduff then Inverness Academy, frequently visiting Germany from the 1920s onwards. |
