Administrative History | The trustees of the deceased Mary Duthie or Williams, 4 Queen's Gardens, Aberdeen, gave £1000 to the Town Council of the City of Aberdeen in 1906 to be held in trust as a fund called the Mary Duthie Williams Fund. The capital was invested and the revenue used for the purchase of blankets, which were 'to be distributed among such deserving poor persons of the City of Aberdeen as the Chief Constable of the City shall select'. The fund has been administered by Voluntary Service Aberdeen since 1981. |
